Like many people, I was a little disappointed that Malon didn't make any kind of an appearance in Twilight Princess. I liked seeing a more-detailed version of Link and I wanted to see a detailed version of her too. So, I had to draw my own.
This took a lot longer than I expected, mostly because I kept adding detail and re-doing parts.

I guess I'll explain my thinking behind this design. In the alternate dimension of Majora's Mask, Malon was basically split into two characters: Cremia and Romani. They both lived and worked at Romani Ranch. Well, I know that the Romani people are what many people commonly refer to as 'Gypsies'. So, for this drawing I tried to give Malon more of a gypsy style, while trying not to go overboard. I didn't want her to end up looking like a fortune-teller or a belly-dancer.

So, I added a few details of my own, while making sure to not leave out any of the original details from the game.

*Malon is property of Nintendo and I claim no ownership. As much as I might like to have a Malon to call my own, she's not mine.

I don't know who Malon is (I've only played the Twilight Princess game :blushes:) but this painting is amazing. I love the dimension and colors. It clearly reflects how much time you put into it. Love it :heart:

Oh wow! I'm so glad you decided to do a colored version of this piece! It looks absolutely amazing! I especially like the crimping details in her shirt and skirt.

This is such a neat design for her! I've always loved Malon, and it was a shame that she was cast aside in TP. It would have been nice to see her, maybe working with Ilia or helping look after the goats or something...

Anyway, great picture! I like how she's more detailed, but still has that old look to her. Her lil' braids are an awesome touch too~ ^^

This looks so real, i just want to jump into the picture and sweep her off her feet! Then we could make awesome redhead babies ;) with our long red hair blowing in the breeze...Being a redhead, i love other redheads alot, LOL
